Friday's Feature Foto

I totally intended to blog between last Friday and this Friday, but it just didn't happen. Between getting sick (again! ugh), watching my niece, and everything else that keeps me busy, blogging had to take a back seat. The funny thing is that I have about 5 different posts running around in my head (with pictures), and I just haven't posted them yet. My goal for next week is to actually post them, and free up some space in my head!

For today's post I've decided to step away from the landscape photos I've done, and put in a portrait. This is my niece Anabelle. She's pretty cute, and I love taking pictures of her. I actually entered this into competition, and the judges ripped it apart, but I like it no matter what. To me it shows her innocence. The judges said the inside of the arms should never be shown in a photo because it's the whitest part of our body which makes it unattractive. Personally, I thought the judges were full of it, but that's my personal opinion.

Tell me what you think!

Maybe that would be so on an adult, BUT, children are pure and perfect and all their skin is extra white and untouched. IGNORE!!! Just remember when posing adults....now would one really show an adult with their arms up?

Little one is adorable.

I was going to say exactly what Maryann said! She's a little girl! I love the pic - I think she's beautiful.

No question about it, this is the best photo you have ever taken! Although, I may be just a Little Bit biased :)
Have I ever told you how happy I am to have a great photographer like you in the family? Maybe it's a good thing that you live so far away. I would go broke just by paying you to take pics all the time. :)

And those judges were on crack.

I'm with you, the judges were smoking some good hooch. That is a gorgeous pic. In fact, it gives me a good idea for another play date...
