Upsides and downsides

The holidays always make me a little schizophrenic. So, in honor of my dual personalities.... here is a post of upsides and downsides from the last week or so.

Upside: I got to get more ultrasound pictures last week.
Downside: She still wasn't cooperating, so I'll have to go back and get more.
Upside: I get to have more pictures at the beginning of January.

Here's her cute profile.

Here are the arms that were crossed in front of her face and chest. Those along with her yoga positioned legs (her feet were on her forehead) kept the tech from being able to get a perfect view of her heart.

Upside: I have a beautifully clean kitchen.
Downside: I had to do 6 batches of dishes (we don't have a dishwasher) to make up for the time I was sick and Will was doing finals and no dishes.

Upside: My Christmas shopping is done.
Downside: This Christmas was horrible to figure out what we wanted because our budget was tiny and we both got what we wanted for Christmas already (see pictures above).

Upside: I get to be home for Christmas.
Downside: I don't get to see all my family (Mark & Family, and all of Will's family will be missed).
Upside: We will go to my parent's house for Christmas afternoon and get to see my sisters (even Becky) and my parents.

Upside: It's been pretty quiet around here.
Downside: It's because I have no voice, and I'm not sure what year it will be when I finally get it back.

Upside: It looks like we'll have a white Christmas this year.
Downside: The white Christmas started early (last week). Driving is really scary. And it doesn't matter how many times I have/beg Will to shovel the driveways/walks, they're always covered again in no time.

Upside: I've gotten pampered to the max by Will since I've been sick.
Downside: I think I need Pampers because coughing and pregnancy bladder control issues don't mix.

There's the end of my dual personality, upside-downside review of the last week or so. Have a great weekend, and good luck with the last preparations for Christmas.

I'm no so sure loosing you're voice is a downside for Will.... LOL. Being prego makes women a little demanding and cranky. Especially when adult diapers are needed. LOL.

Hope you get well before Christmas!

We love you!

Hearing that your sister-in-law needs adult diapers is something disturbing that no guy should suffer. A little warning next time? :-)
Merry Christmas
