Today is my first Blogoversary (I started this post before midnight, but it took me a while to finish). In honor of that, I think the fates planned that I should run into another blogger I've had the pleasure of meeting only twice before. Once at Blogapalooza, and once at
Jenibelle's daughter Lauren's wedding.

I saw
Tristan today at my doctor's office. I went in for my 28 week OB appointment and was chatting it up with the receptionist (who used to live in the stake I grew up in back in California), and noticed that Tristan's name was on the sign in sheet. Didn't think I'd actually get to see her, but then I turned around and there she was! Tristan, you look great, by the way.

As if that wasn't surprising enough, I'd just been talking with a mom and her (adult) daughter who had come in to show off the daughter's beautiful 2 week old son. We talked for a little while, and it turned out we were both from California, me & Will from the Sacramento area, and they're from the Bay Area. So of course, the "do you know so-and-so" game began. I asked where in the Bay Area they were from and they said B-wood. I mentioned the fact I'd done photos for a wedding out there, and when I mentioned the name of the bride (beautiful Lauren), they came up with her last name before I could finish talking. Then I mentioned that I knew
Celia as well, and the mom just about died. She wanted to know how I knew Celia and so I explained that Celia's sister, Ellie, married my brother, Mark. She immediately said she knew the whole family and that she used to sew costumes for Pam's plays. She asked me to be sure and say hi to the whole Greenbaum family, as well as Jenibelle & her family... "Hi!" from Shaua Little! By the way, when all this was done, the receptionist looked at me like I was a little crazy, but I didn't care.
In addition to seeing so many people with connections to the blog world, I got to get my last ultrasound (for now) and see more pictures of little Eva. So of course I'm sharing.

Cute profile.

Here's her foot/paddle. They measured her feet and they're actually longer than her femurs right now. I think she takes after her Daddy.

Lower legs... If you notice the leg at the top of the picture (knee on the right, foot on the left), she is going to have great calves.

Oh, and they checked again... She's still a girl. :)
Overall, it's been a great day. I'm looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow. I've been taking Will to school or work everyday (since we only have the one car, and it's too snowy for him to ride his scooter) so sleeping in hasn't happened. If only little Eva would actually let me sleep. She likes to make sure I remember she's there. To be honest, I love the reminders. Except maybe the bathroom visits. Kicks are okay though.

Shirley
I must tell you that when I read this yesterday I felt really sorry for myself that you had seen Afton's baby and I haven't.
How cute is he? Does he look like his mother?
I miss my BFF Shauna.
Ok... first of all... HOW CAN YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FIRST SEASON OF LOST?!?!?!!!
Second of all.... HELLO... OF COURSE I HAVE IT!!!!
Third of all... I MISS YOU TERRIBLY!!!! If you move back to Sacramento I'll bake you cookies, give you a foot rub and we can watch LOST while our husbands are at work. We'll tell them that we've been having the kids watch "educational television" all day... but really it will be LOST.
Happy Blogoversary! Small world, I know Shauna too. I stopped by her house the day her daughter Afton found out she was pregnant! I can't believe she already had the baby!!!
And baby Eva is looking adorable.
Happy Blogiversary!
Isn't it a small world?
Those cute baby profile pics are the best.
