My favorite sister, Robin (sorry Lissa & Becky), graduated today. She has spent the last 4 years at BYU and today she walked in graduation. Now that I think about it, she started school in August of 2004 and she finished classes in December of 2007...
Robin YOU ROCK! You graduated in 3 1/2 years!
Here are some of my favorite pictures from the last 2 days.

This is Mom, Robin & Dad. Mom wanted to make sure I got the Y in the background. After the obligatory pictures, we went to the Marriott Center for Commencement. For those who don't know, it's a pretty big building (max. capacity: 22,700), and when the graduates file in, it seems a little willy-nilly. You have no idea where your family member is, and even if you have an idea when they come in, finding them is a different story. After everyone was sitting down, I pulled out my longest telephoto lens, and started a grid search. Luckily I found her, and took a bunch of pictures so I could show everyone in the family where she was sitting.

I've labelled Robin's location (look to the left of the label), and the commencement speaker was Elder David A. Bednar, so I labelled him too. She had a much better seat than us (she earned it), and we were directly across the building from her.

Then today we met Cecil O. Samuelson (President of BYU).

She got her diploma cover (the real diploma came a couple of months ago when she finished classes). Sorry for the blurry photo, I was moving kinda fast so I wasn't in anyone's way.

After Convocation, Robin gave Mom & Dad her Stole of Gratitude. This is part of the graduation robe, which she was able to write a sweet message on, and gave it to the people who helped her most through her education.
Then, when all was said and done, we took a family photo! Some students say their family is what carried them through college. We took that to heart!

Yay!!! I'm glad you posted the pics of Dad and us holding Rob-Rob! Those were some of my faves! You forgot to post the one of Robin showing us what was under her robe... ;o)
Hey! My sister's in your picture. She's the one in the 15th row, 2 seats over. (Okay, not really, but she did graduate last week, too, from BYU.)
My favorite is that sweet picture with that gratitude thing.
Yay, Robin! Love the pics, Nancy. So now that she has graduated with a degree in "mom/housewife" (or whatever it's called) we've gotta help her find a job that will really utilize her skills :)
No, seriously, what was the name of her major again? I remember it sounding like something you would only find at a Mormon school. That's awesome.
Great Pictures! You must all be so proud of Robin. I remember her when she was a "bump" and making her mom feel tired. Where did the time go?
Glad she is going to get her credential. We need good teachers.
How fun that you got to attend your sister's graduation - she sure looks a lot like you! My little sister and brother (twins) are graduating from high school in about a month... so fun!
thanks nance!
That is cool! My son just got into the business program so I have this to look forward to. Love the last pic.
Gratitude thing made me tear up!!
Please call me, I am hoping we can make this work!!!
I need just the day of, but I would want you ALL day, including her getting ready in the morning. I could get you a room in the one hotel in town!!!
Congratulations, Robin! Incredible that you finished so quickly. Way to go.
