When did she get so grown up??

Today we had a huge milestone! Eva took her first steps!!! I have a great video (recorded by Katrina, Will's sister), and we are so amazed that our little girl is getting so grown up! I don't know if I've used enough exclamation points yet... I can try a few more!!!! :)

For your viewing pleasure (and with the help of Katrina's amazing laptop) I've trimmed the original video (of more than 3 minutes) down to the best little bits. It's cute and if you listen carefully, you can hear Will sound kinda goofy... plus he makes a funny hand gesture when he says it. :)

We've been wondering when she'd start walking, and I guess I can't hold her off anymore. Not that I was trying to stop her, but mostly that she is just growing up so quickly! My little girl is getting bigger, and I'm enjoying every second of it!

I'm still here!

I know I haven't posted in ages, but life has been really busy. To sum up... I'm still alive. I made it through the holidays... they were really good in fact. I'm doing much better (thanks to twice the PPD meds and a great hubby who makes my life amazing!) and I'm starting to feel more like myself. I've been busy chasing after Eva who is crawling (and has been for about 3 months now) and now she's trying to walk. It's funny to see her cruise furniture and take flying leaps (or leans as it were) toward things she wants to get to. She's smart as can be and is able to show me she understands so much of what I'm saying. Will and I have been teaching her to sign, and she's really good at signing "milk" and we help her with "please," "mommy," "daddy," and lots of others. She's working on new teeth (molars... AAARG!!!), and she's not sleeping well (I think Will just accidentally woke her up), but I love her to bits and she makes me so happy.

One of the best things that's happened is that I'm setting some new goals for this year. There are so many things I want to do better, and Will is helping me to figure out how to reach my goals. We have plans and I think we might just make it.

I'd love to post pictures and videos (I have a ton from the last 3 months), but I'm on our laptop (I have lots to say about this stupid laptop, but I'll refrain for now) so I can't post any (they're on the other computer).

Anyway, here's to an update, and I promise to post again soon... and I mean in less than 3 months! I have a big birthday coming up and so does Eva... there's no way I'll miss posting about that! :)
